Lingual braces
A modern take on the traditional method of braces, lingual braces use the brackets and archwire system to move teeth into position, but are fitted to the inside surface of your teeth. This means they are virtually invisible to everyone around you.

How do lingual braces work?
Lingual braces look very similar to traditional metal (or buccal) braces – the main difference is, you can’t see them. That’s because lingual braces are fitted to the tongue side surface of your teeth. They do take a bit more getting used to than traditional braces, which are fitted on the front surface of your teeth, and as a result your speech will be affected for the first couple of days once they’ve been fitted, but this won’t last long.
