Julie qualified as a dental nurse in 1994 before qualifying as a dental hygienist in June 1997, the same year she gained her radiography qualification. She then became a registered orthodontic nurse in August 2008 before qualifying as an orthodontic therapist through the University of Bristol in December 2009.
Julie works at the practice on a Thursday as a hygienist.
Rebecca has worked for Dr Allsopp since 2002. She qualified as a dental nurse in 2004 followed by radiography in 2009. Since 2010 Rebecca has had a management role which includes Health and Safety (in which she has an IOSH qualification), child protection, clinical governance, complaints, information governance, radiography protection supervisor and human resources.
Jane has worked as a dental receptionist for 30 years so she is extremely experienced and has a great relationship with our patients. Niki has worked for Dr Allsopp since 2007 and has obtained her NVQ Level 3 qualification in Oral Health with us. She was promoted to Head Nurse for her organisation and multi-tasking skills, and is now our decontaminant lead.
Sophie qualified as a dental hygienist in 2007 from Cardiff University Dental Hospital, where she developed a keen interest in implantology and helping patients care for their implants. Since then she has further developed her skills in private practice and likes keeping up-to-date with new techniques within the industry. This includes helping patients to achieve a brighter whiter smile with our advanced whitening system. In her spare time Sophie likes to keep active and has recently taken part in the wolf run.
Katie has worked with us since 2010. She qualifed as a dental nurse in 2012 and was then promoted to Head Nurse at our Bridge Street practice.
In 2014 Katie successfully passed her radiography exam. She has now taken on a new role as Invisalign Treatment Consultant and has gained a Health & Safety qualification. She has also gained her impression taking qualification and her radiography. Katie is our child protection lead, and a member of the management team.
Emma has been with us since 1998 when she was a trainee dental nurse. She then qualified in 2003 and went on to gain her radiography qualification.
In 2017 Emma became qualified to take dental impressions. She is one of our very experienced orthodontic treatment coordinators.
Sarah joined us in 2012 and was promoted to head nurse of our Bridge Street practice. She is now head nurse at both of our clinics and part of the management team. Sarah gained her radiography qualification in 2012.
