Your oral hygiene
Your smile is one of the first things someone will notice about you, so don’t let the state of your teeth stop you from making a great first impression. At Allsopp Orthodontics, our oral hygiene appointments will help to keep your teeth in the best condition possible.
Why is your oral health important?
Oral hygiene isn’t just important for your teeth and gums; it’s important for your overall health. By not following a regular daily oral health care routine, you could suffer from dental decay, bad breath, tooth loss and gum disease. Further problems could include lung conditions, strokes, heart disease, diabetes and even mouth cancer.
Our oral hygiene services
At Allsopp Orthodontics, our oral hygiene appointments include a scale and polish as well as oral hygiene and dietary advice. We’ll undertake an assessment of your overall oral health and talk you through our recommended daily oral health care routine, which includes brushing and flossing.
Our resident hygienist and orthodontic therapist, Julie, has worked with us for 10 years offering hygienist treatments on Thursdays until 9:00pm. We also have Sophie who has worked with us since September 2014 and who offers hygiene treatments on Mondays from 10:00am until 6:00pm.
Oral hygiene appointments can be made for 30 minutes, 45 minutes, or 1 hour.
